Career


David Mullich is an accomplished interactive producer with a creative eye for art and gameplay as well as the engineering background to manage the technical. He has the vision and experience to direct large development teams and manage problem projects, while being able to nurture new talent and work collaboratively with the entertainment industry’s top talent.



Spin Master

Executive Producer: Manage internal development of Tech Deck Live massively multiplayer online game based on Spin Master's skateboard toy franchise Also manage external development of the company's Bakugan website.


Abandon Interactive Entertainment

Development Director: Managed external development of game lobby system, billing system and Myspace-like community website for MMO virtual trading card game. Also managed external development, porting, testing and carrier submission for start-up publisher of mobile phone games based for NBC Sports and other licensed intellectual properties, and produced a casual game for Disney. Created designs and Powerpoint proposals for upcoming projects.


Activision

Producer: Managed external development of award-winning Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines action RPG built upon Valve's Half-Life 2 Source engine. Also managed external development of two “Star Trek” RTS games through Prototype.


The 3DO Company (New World Computing)

Senior Director: Managed internal development of the best-selling Heroes of Might & Magic strategy game franchise (3,000,000 units worldwide). Supervised, with hiring and firing authority, a development team of thirty programmers, designers and artists in the creation of two major sequels, two expansion-packs and six mini-expansions.


Cyberdreams

Creative Director: Managed external development for a software publisher of PC and Macintosh games. Personally produced two adventure games and one interactive movie from concept to completion, and oversaw the development of additional RTS, RPG and Space Sim titles. Collaborated with "name" creative talents such as director Wes Craven, filmmaker Jeff Blyth (CircleVision and IMAX), author Harlan Ellison and artist H. R. Giger.


Interactive Support Group

New Media Producer: Managed internal development of Compton’s Interactive Encyclopedia and several Compact-Disc Interactive and 3DO action games.


Walt Disney Computer Software

Associate Producer: Managed external development of eight action games and children’s titles published by Disney and supervised the publishing of fifteen console and computer games by external Disney licensees. Wrote “Junior Woodchuck Guide” and “Roger Rabbit Gag Catalog” player manuals.


Electric Transit

Development Director: Co-founded game publishing company that became Electronic Arts’ first affiliated label publisher. Produced two externally developed first-person 3-D simulations.


Edu-Ware Services, Inc.

Vice President of Software Development: Managed development department for an educational and entertainment software publisher, taking the company from a $10,000 start-up to a $3.3 million corporation.


Greenleaf Productions

Freelance Software Developer: Designed and programmed one role-playig game and simulations published by Edu-Ware Services and three database programs published by Rainbow Computing.
