David began his career in 1980's earning the reputation of being an innovative designer and developer, both for his videogames based on "The Prisoner" television series and other off-beat inspirations as well as for oversseing the development of educational and entertainment publisher Edu-Ware Service's "unique software for the unique mind". He went on to partner with NASA scientist (and future Planetary Society president) Dr. Wesley T. Huntress, to form a new company, Electric Transit, to publish scientifically-accurate simulation games (what would now be called "serious games").
David's subsequent career as a game producer includes three years with Activision, four years with The Walt Disney Company, and five years with The 3DO Company, as well as running the product develpment departments of smaller publishers and developers. Many of the games and educational software he created have received awards for being the best of their genres.
David specializes in intellectually stimulating games and interactive products based on films, television, literature and other intellectual properties. Filmmakers Wes Craven and Jeff Blyth, authors Harlan Ellison and Raymond Benson, and artist H.R. Giger are among his collaboraters from the Hollywood and other creative communities. His most recent work includes casual and MMO game development, and he has recently branched out into web and multimedia production.
