On August 9, I met up with my Dark Seed II collaborater Raymond Benson at The Mystery Bookstore in Los Angeles. Raymond, who has written five official James Bond novels, presented a slideshow about The James Bond Phenomenon in honor of author Ian Fleming's one hundredth birthday. Raymond was gracious enough to pose for a picture with me and sign a copy of one of his latest books, a novelization of the Konami game Metal Gear Solid.
